Oh, you haven’t tried matching beer with various unique and unusual popcorn flavors?
Tucson Hop Shop, Two Brothers Brewing Company and POPPED Artisan Popcorn are teaming up for a unique beer pairing on January 12 at 5pm.
Two Brothers Brewing Company, a craft brewery out of Chicagoland, has been family-owned and operated since 1996. According to their website, their modest homebrewing start was inspired by “the diversity and culture of European beers”, and lack of flavorful craft beers available in the States (as of the mid-90’s, that is.) Since then, the brewery has grown into a national brand and recently opened a tap house in Scottsdale.
The January 12 event will feature five of Two Brothers’ popular beers, including the Domaine DuPaige French Country Ale and Revelry Imperial Red, and five POPPED flavor creations, like Peppermint and Sweet Chili Lime popcorn.
- Domaine DuPaige French Country Ale paired with Sea Salt Caramel popcorn
- Peppermint Bark Porter paired with Peppermint popcorn
- Northwind Imperial Stout paired with Gingerbread popcorn
- Night Cat Hoppy Wheat paired with Sweet Chili Lime popcorn
- Revelry Imperial Red paired with Sweet Curry popcorn
As Tucson Hop Shop puts it so succinctly, “life is too short to drink boring beer and eat bland popcorn.”
