Ever since opening downtown, local brewery Pueblo Vida has become a popular choice for craft beer lovers.
On August 17, fans will have an opportunity to enjoy Pueblo Vida’s Bavarian Hefewiezen, Northwest IPA and Breakfast Stout paired with dishes from one of Tucson’s most popular restaurants.
Union Public House at St. Phillip’s Plaza is hosting the first Pueblo Vida beer dinner. The four-course menu is overflowing with beer-influenced dishes, from carpaccio with fried hops and capers to an oatmeal cookie with “hopped chocolate.”
With main course choices like 10-Day Barley Demicorned Beef with boiled rooster potatoes or Charbroiled Steak with tots and smoked bleu cheese, you certainly won’t leave hungry.
$55/person. Reservations required.

First Course – Cured Meats & Cheese
Your choice of:
- House Buratta – Bresaoloa, arugula puree
- Four-Year Aged Wisconsin Cheddar – Beef bacon, apple butter
- Roquefort Bleu – Barley yogurt, burnt beef cheeks
- Paired with Bavarian Hefewiezen
Second Course – Seasonal, Raw
Your choice of:
- Carpaccio – Fried hops and capers, arugula, citrus supremes
- Tartar – Shallot, cornichons, EVOO, ‘spent grain’ crackers
Third Course – Meat and Potatoes
Your choice of:
- Roast – Slow braised short rib, crispy Kennebec, carrot foam
- Barley Demicorned Beef – 10-day house corned sirloin, boiled rooster potatoes, cabbage roll, mustard jus
- Charbroiled Steak – House tots, smoked bleu cheese, wheat grass puree
- Paired with Northwest IPA
Fourth Course – Sweet
Your choice of:
- Oatmeal Cookie – Beef tallow, hopped chocolate
- Ganash Chocolate Ice Cream – House churned, Yellow Brick Coffee’s cold brew
- Brittle – Poached hops, puffed barley, whipped sour cream
- Paired with Breakfast Stout
