On March 23, Vero Amore will turn ten.
To celebrate, for the last half of March, Vero Amore will offer items from their original menu. Along with original items, their menu will feature its original pricing from ten years ago.
On March 23, owners Aric and Josh Mussman will be at the restaurant all night to welcome guests with champagne and cake.
Known for their authentic Neapolitan pizza, Vero was founded in Tucson by the Mussman brothers. At the time, it was the first and only Verace Pizza Napoletana Academy (VPN) certified authentic Neapolitan pizzeria in all of Arizona.
From mozzarella and dough, to sauce and salad, each item on the Vero Amore menu is made fresh every day. Vero Amore wants people to come to the restaurant and “feel as though they have come to their house for a home cooked meal.”
The original restaurant, which was located at Camp Lowell and Swan, consisted of only six employees in a 1,200 square foot building.
Now, Vero Amore employs 150 people and has two locations, one in Tucson and one in Marana. In addition, they’ve grown to form as JAM Culinary Concepts which includes three other restaurants: Noble Hops, The Still, and Tinwell in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Guests can also look forward to another JAM anniversary party in May when Noble Hops turns five.
