If you like margaritas, I mean, if you really like margaritas, you’ll definitely want to get in on this.
From now until October 13, Tucson Foodie, in association with SAACA and Tucson Originals is running a margarita photo contest leading up to the World Margarita Championship on October 18.
Here’s how the photo challenge works:
- Take a picture of a margarita. Any margarita. Made at home, out at a party, or in a restaurant or bar.
- Post said picture to Instagram with hashtags #MargaritaChamp2014. Also include #saaca and #tucsonfoodie for good luck.
- Get Likes. Most Likes wins.
The winner will walk away with a pair of tickets to the 2014 World Margarita Championship. This is the first year that SAACA has gotten in on the action and you know – especially if you made it to the Salsa & Tequila Challenge – how SAACA throws down.
Tickets are $45 ($55 day of) and include up to 20 margarita and food tastings. If you’ve never been, it really is a great time. The actual competition is a blast, too with bartenders and chefs openly competing live.
So, get out there and take some margarita photos. See if you can’t save yourself $90.
For more information or to buy tickets, check the World Margarita Championship event page on the SAACA website.
