Zio Peppe will host a Mauro Molino wine dinner at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, The five-course experience highlights the wines of Piemonte’s Langhe region, paired with chef-driven plates that honor Italian tradition.
Featured Guests and Wines
Cristiano Borra, export manager of Mauro Molino, and Steve Lewis, owner of Giuliana Imports, will present the wines. They will guide guests through each pour, offering stories of the winery’s heritage and terroir.

A Five-Course Journey
Chef Mat Cable and the Zio Peppe team designed a menu to complement Mauro Molino wines. Courses include:
- Fichi e robiola – mesquite honey–brûléed fig, robiola, fennel fern, and pomegranate, paired with Chardonnay Langhe 2022.
- Tajarin al ragù di vitello – thin egg yolk pasta with veal ragù and Parmigiano Reggiano, served with Barbera d’Asti Leradici 2022.
- Quaglia alla griglia – grilled quail with sunchoke, pickled shallot, Castelmagno, and micro arugula, matched with Nebbiolo Langhe 2023.
- Brasato al Barolo – Barolo-brined and braised brisket with Toma Piemontese polenta and pickled allium, alongside Barolo Conca 2020.
- Persi pien, peach, chocolate, amaretti, and Frangelico crème anglaise, paired with Barbera d’Alba 2023.
