Much like the previous years, the Parish is roasting several alligators over an open flame, each weighing between 20-30 pounds — that’s about 600 pounds of gator waiting to be eaten.

In addition, you can expect classic Cajun food and a Crawfish Boil out of chef Travis Peters and his crew, beer from Abita Brewing, and multiple drink specials, live music, and a massive amount of beads to go all around.

And that’s not all; both the gators and the crawfish (all 500 pounds) are flown in from Louisianna, live. How’s that for fresh and authentic?

In 2017, chef Brian Smith was selected to represent Tucson in Parma by a local board incorporated with UNESCO — the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization.  In time, the group designated the Old Pueblo as an official City of Gastronomy.

Now, chef Smith is ready to share his knowledge by sharing a dinner featuring meats, cheeses, and other cuisine that made the Italian city, Parma, so legendary.

The menu has yet to be released, but will consist of Parmigiano-Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma.

Tickets are $69 per person.

Before the talented actors enter the Center of the Arts stage at 7:30 p.m., the Pima Community College’s Hospitality Management will be delivering a gourmet meal out on the courtyard.

You can expect to find themed treats that’ll have you dancin’ in your seat, much like the Singin’ in the Rain Raspberry Trifle. Plus,  with the main course, you’ve got an option to choose a vegetarian option.

Seats are $75 per person and includes dinner and your ticket to the show. If you’re interested in a sponsor table for eight people it’s $800.
