Local chocolate factory and cafe Monsoon Chocolate recently added three savory galettes to their summer menu:
- Heritage Pork & Black Garlic Mole ($8) – potato and cotija in phyllo dough
- Cauliflower & Goat Cheese ($6) – butternut squash, turnips, pine nuts, and mint in phyllo dough
- Potato & Leek ($6) – preserved lemon and za’atar in phyllo dough
While mimosas aren’t on the Monsoon Chocolate menu, that’s fine — delve into their chocolate beverages. Cool off with the Frocho ($5), a frozen chocolate granita with coconut cream and cocoa nibs.
