Borderlands Brewing Company has been on a tear in the last year or so, opening a brand-new spot in the Sam Hughes neighborhood, debuting new menus, and brewing unique beer collabs.
Now, the team behind the brews is excited to throw its 12th Anniversary Beer Festival from 1 – 5 p.m. (at noon if you purchase VIP tickets) on Saturday, April 29 at 119 E. Toole Ave.
The beer-themed block party and beer festival will feature more than 10 different breweries from Southern Arizona and Mexico. Aside from that, there are going to be games, food, live music, and two freshly-brewed beers. They’ll be releasing the summer Watermelon Blonde Ale (4.5% ABV) and a Girl Scout lemon cookie-inspired Pink Lemonade Sour (5.0% ABV) for the anniversary.
Both of these beers will be exclusively available at the Borderlands beer fest booth (not available inside the taproom).
Plus, make sure you buy your tickets sooner than later because there’s the risk they’ll sell out and you won’t be able to purchase them at the door/on the day of.
Stay tuned for the official list of participating breweries. However, here’s a hint: They’re all creative in their own way and their names likely include the words “brewery” or “brewing.”
