HighWire and Tucson Pride are hosting an unforgettable evening filled with glamour, laughter, and fabulous performances by Kennedy DavenPort. The big party is happening on Sunday, October (doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.) at 14 S. Arizona Ave.

Kennedy DavenPort is one of the stars of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” a “Dancing Diva of Texas,” and has crowned titles including Miss Gay USA 2019, Miss Gay Orlando 2016, Miss D’Elegance International 2013, and Miss Gay Black USA 2009.

The party will be hosted by Allonna Dee and will feature the talented Onika Grande, Benaddiction, and Gia Colby. Get ready to witness the most talented Drag Queens as they take the stage and showcase their incredible artistry.

Get Your Tickets!

General admission is $30 per person and standing room only. Your ticket includes entry to the show followed by a meet and greet (if time allows). Limited VIP tickets are $60 each and include reserved seating, access to the VIP Bar, and priority meet and greet. VIP guests will also receive two complimentary cocktails. The very limited Platinum tickets are $100 and include everything that VIP guests get plus reserved luxury lounge seating in the front row and access to a cocktail server.

It’ll be wise to arrive by 6 p.m. to ensure entry by showtime. If you get there after 7 p.m., entry is not guaranteed and is subject to capacity limits. This is a 21-and-over event.

The fast-casual spot will feature about 75% of the original location’s menu, plus two exclusive dishes: build-your-own Turkish stuffed baked potatoes, known as Kumpir, and fresh-ground doner made in-house. The falafel plate and stuffed potatoes can also be made vegan.

Phoenix bakery @Proofbread is popping up in Tucson! 

Starting Friday, Oct. 9, the Phoenix-based sourdough bakery and stone flour mill will take over the two former @Cafefrancaisaz locations for a Tucson pop-up.

Expect naturally leavened country loaves, chocolate croissants with 81 layers of laminated dough, morning buns, ciabatta and more. 🥐🍞

📍 7831 E. Wrightstown Rd. 
📍 3855 E. Broadway Blvd. 

Both locations will be open 7 am-2 pm throughout October. If the pop-up is a success, Proof Bread says it could become a permanent Tucson operation.
