On Wednesday, March 27, Prep & Pastry is rolling out a new menu featuring brand-new lunch items, mix-and-match deals, and Early Bird Specials.
Sure, there’s been a few lunch dishes on the menu — it shared the same page with breakfast and brunch items — but now it’s getting its very own spread, so to speak. With two locations here in Tucson (6450 E. Grant Rd. #160 and 2660 N. Campbell Ave.) and two others up north (in Scottsdale and Gilbert), the team as a collaborative is excited about the new additions.
“We’re thrilled to announce the return of our lunch menu,” said Nate Ares, owner of Prep & Pastry and the Ares Collective Restaurant Group (Commoner & Co. and Flora’s Market Run). “For the past three years, we’ve been running a menu that offered both breakfast and a few lunch items. However, we’re now shifting gears to focus more on lunch.”
Additionally, you can order breakfast during lunch hours at Prep & Pastry.
“One of our main goals is to provide more affordable options,” Ares added. “That’s why we’re introducing a wallet-friendly lunch special — a half-and-half deal where you can mix and match sandwiches (excluding the burger and fried chicken) with any salad or soup for just $15. It even includes a drink!”
One of those sandwiches is The Club. Sourdough bread, shaved turkey, bacon, herb avocado, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and herb aioli — this thing’s stacked. The meal comes with fries but if you go with the half-and-half special, you can get a salad or soup instead.
Keep scrolling to see the new lunch menu, which is available starting at 11 a.m. each day.
If you’re an early riser and your appetite rises to the occasion, too, you’re in luck. Like other cafes and diners in Tucson that reward eaters for showing up early, Prep & Pastry will begin serving an Early Bird Special from 7 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27.
They have a Simple Breakfast with Bacon, which includes a coffee, for $12. Also, there’s a half-sized omelet with your choice of either the half order of French Toast or Biscuits & Gravy.
The bar menu is always changing things up, too, while keeping staples like the mimosas menu, the House Bloody Mary, and assorted cocktails. Drinks like the Serial Celebration (Cocoa Puffs-infused vodka, espresso liqueur, coffee, and a whipped soft top) ought to perk you up, and there’s even a Bartender’s Call, which is a rotating specialty cocktail.
Speaking of rotations, the beer taps are always doing so — there’s always something buzzin’ behind the bar.
Prep & Pastry is located at 2660 N. Campbell Ave. and 6450 E. Grant Rd. #160. For more information, visit prepandpastry.com.
