Nerds, unite!
Tucson Comic-Con is back, bringing all the excitement and creativity to downtown Tucson from Friday, August 30 – September 1 at the Tucson Convention Center.
Fans of all ages come out, dress up as their favorite characters, and then celebrate pop culture, comics, and other fandoms.
Plus, the Tucson Comic-Con is hosting Doug Jones! The name may not sound familiar but you’ve likely seen him in films. He’s the tall zombie in “Hocus Pocus,” he’s a couple of characters in “Pan’s Labyrinth,” and the fish dude in Guillermo del Toro’s “Hellboy” movies. He’s this year’s “Guest of Honor” and he should be!
Okay, I’m done nerding out about Doug Jones.
All in all, you’re bound to get hungry. Support these local businesses near the Tucson Convention Center when you’re not nerding out about Doug Jones.
You can still get your tickets to Tucson Comic-Con, which are $55 for the full weekend (for adults). Check out tucsoncomic-con.com for all ticket prices (kids get in for less).
