Paying it forward is neat because it creates a ripple effect of kindness and generosity that can brighten someone’s day and inspire them to do the same for others. It’s an easy way to make the world a little better. You can make the world a little sweeter, too.
From now until Tuesday, December 31, Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is offering free pancakes through its Pancake It Forward Campaign.
The folks at Snooze are hoping Pancake It Forward will set off a “chain reaction of good vibes” because it allows you to send a free pancake to a friend — no purchase necessary and no strings attached — to be redeemed within 30 days.

It’s pretty easy to do, too.
Fill out the online form and they’ll immediately gift your family member or friend a voucher good for a free pancake. Then, hopefully, whoever you sent it to sends a free flapjack back in your direction (wink wink).
Send free pancakes to a bunch of other people. There’s no limit to how many freebies you send.
“We’re not asking you to pay a thing, and don’t worry we won’t tell,” the Snooze team shared. “And because who doesn’t want a delicious Snooze pancake, we invite you to send as many pancakes as you’d like.”
Important Stuff:
- The freebie cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or discount
- Your email address is limited to one offer redemption during the Pancake it Forward campaign
- You can only get one free pancake per visit
- Dine-in orders only
“We know life moves fast, but the holidays are the perfect time to slow down and reconnect with the people who matter most,” said David Birzon, CEO of Snooze. “At our table, pancakes have always been more than just breakfast — they’re a way to bring people together and create change. This holiday season, we hope that pancakes can be a spark of joy in your life and the lives of those you care about.”

Matt Sterner
More about MattAt a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.
He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking. One of his favorite classes was screenwriting because he became responsible for the story’s birth before it came to life on-screen. After school, Matt took on numerous positions at a local television station in Tucson. From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
If you’re in the mood for strange stories, head over to his pride and joy, wonkytimes.com. And in case you’re curious — yes, after all of this time, he still manages to roll a killer burrito.
