Sure, eggnog is tasty (for some) and is even yummier when mixed with spirits (for some).
Here in Tucson, there are so many other crafty concoctions to try this holiday season. So, no matter how you choose to spend the following days in December, there are plenty of cocktails to warm your belly.
Here is a big list of limited-time beverages tasty enough to get 12 drummers drumming and even 10 lords a-leaping.
The Marana bar and pizza shop has rotating cocktails each week so pop your head in there for the holiday creations before the end of the month. Follow the bar on Instagram to keep up with the menu.
Here’s their winter starting lineup:
The local French restaurant has Christmas Mimosas during brunch — now until the end of the month.
The following four cocktails will be served this December. They’re all available during regular HUB hours at the downstairs Playground bar (will not be offered during Playground nightclub hours).
On Friday, December 13, Tucson Foodie and Tucson Doobie are teaming up for the very festive Jack Frost Lounge from 7 p.m. – close at 2000 N. Oracle Rd. It’s just $10 to get in and make sure you RSVP online ahead of time.
“Looking for a way to stay warm this winter in Tucson? Our Hot Toddies are here to do the trick. Whether you’re strolling through downtown or settling in for a cozy evening, Juniper has the perfect drink to keep the chill away.”
The resort has a Native Breeze cocktail, served in a unique hand-blown glass. They also have a few non-alcoholic holiday cocktails like the Strawberry Hibiscus Spritz in St. Louis, the Cranberry Rosemary Spritz in Miami Beach, and the Save The Bees in Philadelphia.
“This year-round dry drink is about as festive as you can get. Try the Parish Cream Soda, with your choice of mango, coconut, passionfruit, blueberry, or peach. Add a little brandy or spiced rum for extra holiday cheer!”
The restaurant has a “Cozy Weather Cocktail” menu at the moment — they’re all $14 each — featuring the following:
“Why stress over holiday plans when you can sip your way into the spirit with our Fig-ure It Out cocktail? A rich blend of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, sweet fig, decadent honey, cozy cinnamon, and a bubbly touch of soda makes this the drink of the season. Pair it with a night on Tucson’s largest patio, lit up with twinkling lights, live music, and the warm energy of the season.”
Now until Saturday, January 4, Old Tucson Studios is hosting its very own holiday attraction throughout the month. Now, there’s all kinds of fun like various holiday-themed shows and performances, Christmas carolers, S’mores stations, tree lightings, festive decor spread all around, hangout sessions with Santa Claus, holiday cocktails, and plenty of dust to kick around.
