15+ Pizza Slice & Drink Combos For $10 or Less

by Matt SternerAug 9, 2024Updated Aug 4, 20265 min read
Sometimes you're not hungry enough to eat an entire pizza and, to be honest, nuking it in your microwave turns it into an edible frisbee. A lot of us have been there, done that. Luckily, there are plenty of places in Tucson that offer pizza by the slice. To make it even better, they offer a combo deal of some sort that's less than $10. Here's a roundup of a few spots in town that serve such a deal, and some of these aren't a combo at all — they're simply a slice of pizza and a cheaply-priced drink.

Brooklyn Pizza Company

534 North 4th AvenueDowntown

If you're walking around Fourth Avenue between the hours of 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., stop by Brooklyn Pizza for a slice of cheese pizza and a fountain drink for $5.41. This deal is valid daily between those specific hours. Additional veggie toppings are $1.23 each and additional meat toppings are $1.82 each.

Dominick's Real Italian

8330 North Thornydale RoadNorthwest

The northwest side Italian restaurant has a pretty great lunch special daily until 4 p.m. — giant slices of cheese pizza for $8! If you're a big spender, toss some toppings on it for $0.75 each (up to three toppings). Then, add a non-alcoholic drink for just $1 (dine-in only).

Empire Pizza & Pub

137 East Congress StreetDowntown

The downtown spot doesn't have a specific deal but it's easy to pair a slice of pizza with any of the sodas and select beers on tap (a combo that's $10 or less). A slice of cheese pizza is $4, a pepperoni slice is $4.50, and their "display slice" is $5.50.

Fentonelli's Pizzeria & Bar

7262 North Oracle RoadNorthwest

On the lunch menu, you have a few options! For just $5 each, get a slice of cheese, a slice of pepperoni, or a "Daily Slice," which you'll just have to head into the restaurant to see what it is. Get a glass bottle of Coca-Cola or any other non-alcoholic beverage and it ought to run just under $10.

Fiamme Pizza Napoletana

4706 East Sunrise DriveFoothills

The wood-fired Neapolitan pizza spot in the foothills offers multiple pizzas by the slice that won't empty your wallet. Their slices range from $5.50 to $6 each, depending on what you'd like on top. On Tuesdays, and if you have more than $10 in your pocket, they have a "two for Tuesdays" deal — two slices of pizza and a drink for $11!

Frog & Firkin

874 East University BoulevardDowntown

Weave your way through the party crowd and you'll find that they've got pizza by the slice for $6.50 each. There isn't a specific combo deal but a fountain drink ought to keep it under $10. Plus, if you're super hungry and have some deep pockets, they have giant slices for $11.75 each.

Jaime's Pizza Kitchen

312 East Congress StreetDowntown

The pizza joint is currently offering a one-topping slice of pizza, a side salad, and a soda for just $10. Keep in mind that the deal is only available from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesday – Friday. The menu includes toppings like pepperoni, sausage, bacon, red bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.

Mama's Famous Pizza & Heros

4500 East Speedway BoulevardMidtown

The slices at Mama’s are gargantuan and when dining in you’re surrounded by classic pizza joint nostalgia — arcade machines, stained glass, and families gathered around tables. Slices start at $6.95 and toppings are $0.75 each. Don't get too wild with the toppings and you'll leave spending less than $10 with a beverage.

Mario's Pizza

3157 North 1st AvenueMidtown

This midtown pizza joint has been around since the late '70s and it's likely you've seen the iconic sign near Fort Lowell and First Avenue. It's a quick and easy spot to grab a slice of cheese pizza for $2.99. Pair it with a soda for far less than $10.

No Anchovies

870 East University BoulevardDowntown

Grab yourself a fountain drink or cheap beer and then pick up a slice of cheese pizza for $4.75, pepperoni for $4.95, a mushroom slice for $4.95, and a hot wing-flavored slice for $5.75. On Tuesdays, you can get two pepperoni or cheese slices for $8.

Rocco's Little Chicago Pizzeria

2555 East Broadway BoulevardUniversity & 4th Ave

There are some incredible lunch specials at Rocco’s available daily until 4 p.m. — perfect for a serious case of the munchies. One of our favorites is the "Slice of Deep Dish Pizza" for $9.49. Sure, if you buy a beverage with this deal it's more than $10 but it's totally worth it.

Serial Grillers

7585 South Houghton RoadSouth Side

Serial Grillers have build-your-own-slices for $7.99 each, but if you want to go big, a "specialty pizza" slice is $8.99. Specialties include pizzas like the Red Dragon (marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, and bacon) and The Hills Have Eyes (chicken,  bacon, mozzarella, spinach, diced tomatoes, alfredo sauce, and a parmesan/herb mix). Pair it with a soda and you're hovering around $10.

Time Market

444 East University BoulevardDowntown

In addition to all of the great sandwiches, wine selection, and groceries, Time Market has $4 slices of cheese pizza and $4.50 slices of pepperoni pizza. Pair it with several beverage options are you're walkin' outta there without spending more than $10. They also serve "Specialty Slices of the Day" and the price varies per slice.

Twin Peaks Pizzeria

7575 West Twin Peaks RoadMarana

The pizza shop out in Marana — at the corner of Twin Peaks Road and Coachline Boulevard — has daily "pizza by the slice" specials. Score a jumbo cheese slice for $8 or make it a slice-and-soda combo for $9. If you have a few extra bucks, they have the following combos:
  • Jumbo specialty slice for $9.49
  • Jumbo cheese slice, small salad, and a fountain drink for $11.49
  • Two jumbo cheese slices with a fountain drink for $15.99

Upper Crust Pizza

1909 East Grant RoadUniversity & 4th Ave

Perhaps you’ve seen this deal plastered on a sandwich board on the corner of Grant and Campbell. You can get a large slice of cheese pizza and a fountain drink for $10 (additional toppings are $1 each).  This deal is valid for takeout and dine-in!

Whole Slvce Pizza

160 South Avenida del ConventoDowntown

The New York-style pizza shop on the west side of downtown Tucson has six different slices to choose from — ranging from $5 - $6.95 each. Sodas are around $2 as well so that's a meal for less than $10! Plus, each of the slices can be made vegan or no-way-near-vegan.
