Celebrate the beginning of autumn with a healthy dose of chile heat at the 13th Annual Chile Festival September 23 – 25.
The event begins Friday, September 23 at Trail Dust Town. It continues the next day, Saturday, September 24 at the Oro Valley Farmers Market, then concludes with the Grande Chile Fiesta on Sunday, September 13 at the Rillito Park Farmers Market.
Vendors will offer a variety of chile-themed specialties such as freshly-roasted green chiles, chile spices, tamales, and salsas.
The Grande Chile Fiesta will feature a demonstration by Danny Perez, reigning Tucson Iron Chef and executive chef at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa. Additionally, master Spanish guitarist Gabriel Francisco will provide live music.
