18 Arizona Wineries join the Willcox Wine Country Fall Festival

Willcox Wine Country Fall Festival will be pouring local wines over two days from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 – Sunday, October 21.

Once upon a time, the festival began with just four wineries and a little over 250 attendees — 10 years ago. Now, it’s growing every year as it celebrates two seasons out of the year, with more than 5,000 people joining the last festival.

This season, 18 Arizona Wineries, live music, more than 70 local artists, crafts, as well as locally grown pistachios, pecans, other local produce and specialty foods will be there.

The newest activity added to this season’s festival is “Cellar Selection Sunday.” It’s going to offer special tastings of reserve and library wines from the past and present — directly from their cellars.

Everyone attending the festival will get a commemorative glass, and early bird tickets are $15 for six tastings or $20 for 10 tastings.

If you’re dreading the drive up the freeway, take the “Tucson Ride & Taste” bus ride, which includes water, snacks, and a movie on the way back to Tucson.

Also happening at the festival:

Benefit Wine Dinner and Reception from 6 – 9 p.m. on Saturday evening.
- $50 per seat includes a gourmet dinner by chef Kenneth Foy from Dante’s Fire
- Paired with wines from several Willcox wineries
- Inside the Willcox Community Center on Stewart Street (2 blocks north of the festival)
- All proceeds will benefit the Northern Cochise Community Hospital
