Union Public House is featuring its extensive whiskey collection in a new way by pairing it with an old favorite.
The Bacon Whiskey Dinner is five courses of pure decadence, each dish paired with a carefully-selected whiskey. The starter, a BLT slider with bacon confit, tomato jam and an arugula puree, took first place at Arizona Bacon Fest 2015.
Be sure to save room though as you work your way through a Roquefort Fettuccini and the BBQ Pork Belly Brisket. Then to cap off the evening dip into a Maple Bacon Sundae with maple bacon ice cream, candied bacon and spiced bacon fat pecans.

Amuse
- BLT Slider – Bacon confit, tomato jam, arugula puree
- Paired w/ Angel Envy Bourbon – Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in Port Wine Barrels
First Course
- Bacon and Avocado Salad – Thick cut bacon, smashed avocado, poached egg, caper vinaigrette, micro greens
- Paired w/ Buffalo Trace – Kentucky Straight Whiskey Bourbon
Second Course
- Fettuccini – House bacon, Roquefort cheese, forest mushroom, spinach, melted onions
- Paired w/ Blanton’s – The Original Single Barrel Bourbon
Third Course
- BBQ Pork Belly Brisket – Hickory smoked pork belly, whiskey cheddar polenta, braised greens, smoked onion barbecue sauce
- Paired w/ Whiskey Del Bac Mesquite Smoked
Fourth Course
- Maple Bacon Sundae – Maple bacon ice cream, caramel and fudge sauce, whipped cream, candied bacon, spiced bacon fat pecans
- Paired w/ Four Roses Yellow Label – With marinated cherries
Dinner starts at 6:30 pm on Monday, June 8. Reservations are required, and Union expects seats to sell out. Cost is $75, all-inclusive.
