Chef Christian Padilla will lead a culinary journey on October 28 at The Urban Ranch, blending cacao and culture in a five-course dinner called Cena de Cacao. The event celebrates National Chocolate Day with creative dishes that explore the savory depth of cacao.
Each course connects to the spirit of Dia de los Muertos through flavor and storytelling. Guests can choose a standard menu or an upgraded five-course wine pairing that enhances the cacao-driven experience.

Flores y Cenzias – Grilled Nopal Masa Tart
- yuzu goat cheese, cilantro, poblano, cocoa nibs, pickled cherry salsa, chiltepín oil
Las Aguas del Más Allá – Hamachi Aguachile
- Burnt honey aguachile, cocoa oil, serrano, micro sorrel, blackberry
El Fuego de Recuerdo – Duck Carpaccio
- Smoked white espresso mist, white chocolate espuma, micro horseradish, toasted peanut, orange habanero ash
Pansa a Pansa – Pork Belly
