The Monica will host the 4th Annual Day of the Bread on Thursday, October 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event honors Día de los Muertos through food, music, and giving back to the Tucson community.
Founded by chef Carlotta Flores and Ray Flores Jr., Day of the Bread began as a way to celebrate the Mexican holiday while supporting local causes. This year’s event benefits the UA School Garden Workshop, a program connecting students with Tucson’s agricultural heritage through hands-on gardening education.
Bread Bazaar and Benefit
Guests can taste and purchase baked goods from local bakeries and bread shops across Tucson. The lineup includes pastries, artisan loaves, and more, paired with craft cocktails and mocktails.
The lively evening will also feature music, local chefs, and artists in the warm atmosphere of one of Tucson’s most beloved restaurants, The Monica.
Tickets start at $100 per person, with $50 benefiting the UA School Garden Workshop. Each ticket includes two beverages and food sampling throughout the evening. Tickets are available at exploretock.com/the-monica-tucson.
