Three Tucson alcoholic beverage companies are joining forces once again for the Westside Brew District Tour, which celebrates Tucson’s beverage community, or at the very least, a small westside subset of it, on the second Saturday of each month.
Dragoon Brewing Company, 1912 Brewing Company, and Hamilton Distillers have coined the joint title of “Westside Brew District,” based off their locations south of Grant Road.
The Westside Brew District Tour happens on the second Saturday of each month. The tour begins at 5 p.m. at Dragoon Brewing Company, 6 p.m. at Hamilton Distillers, and 7 p.m. at 1912 Brewing Company. Each of the locations are minutes from one another.
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase dinner from a food truck at Dragoon, desserts at Hamilton, and listen to live local music at 1912.
The three businesses are locally owned and operate independently from the others. However, since the locations are so close to one another, the owners decided to collaborate monthly for an event that all of Tucson can enjoy.
“There is so much creativity in the brewing and distilling community here in Tucson. It is a beautiful thing to be a part of,” Hamilton Distillers founder Stephen Paul said. “We always have so much left to learn that it is a completely inspiring experience to be surrounded by so many brilliant producers that are consistently achieving excellence,” he said.
Tickets to the tour are priced at $15, and include one beer of your choice at Dragoon and 1912, and one whiskey of your choice at Hamilton Distillers.
Tickets can be purchased upon arrival, or in advance in the Tap Room at Dragoon Brewing and at the bar in 1912 Brewing Company. Tickets are available through December.
Although each brewery is located nearly walking distance from one another, always remember to drink responsibly.
