Tucson celebrates Independence Day 2026 with food, music & fireworks

Restaurants and bars across Tucson are ready to light up Independence Day 2026 with festive menus, live music and holiday weekend fun. July 4 falls on a Saturday this year, giving locals an extended weekend to celebrate.

Annual Fourth of July celebration at the Arizona Inn

The Arizona Inn hosts its annual Independence Day Celebration on 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Set on the Inn’s main lawn, the evening features a slow-cooked summer feast served on the African Terrace. The spread includes house-crafted ribs and sliders, beer-and-mustard glazed chicken, grilled shrimp, watermelon and feta salad, and green chile cornbread. Dessert stations include a build-your-own strawberry shortcake and a chef-attended s’mores experience. Beverage service runs 6-10 p.m. on the lawns.

Live music comes from Dos Sueños, an electric violin and guitar duo. Admission is $65 for adults and $25 for children ages 12 and under. Children 5 and under are complimentary. Reservations are required at arizonainn.com.

Waterslide party and Indepen-DANCE at Hotel Congress

311 E. Congress St.

Hotel Congress hosts its Fourth of July Waterslide Party and Indepen-DANCE celebration beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. The event features live entertainment, waterslides, and dancing, with all-ages fun continuing until 10 p.m., after which it becomes a 21-and-over party. The 15-foot Stars & Stripes waterslide, cornhole, and giant Jenga round out the lineup, alongside hot dogs and live music all day and night. Americana acts include a Neil Young set from Bjorgo, a Bruce Springsteen set from Baby Dog, and a Dolly Parton set from Miss Priscilla Priddy & the Priddy Boys. July specials and Bastille Day at Ghini’s French Caffe

Ghini’s French Caffe celebrates summer and France all month long. From July 3-5, guests can enjoy 2-for-$15 classic mimosas Friday through Sunday. The cafe also runs a summer special all month: add a 187ml Prosecco to any entrée for $10.

July specials on the food menu include:

  • Red, White & Bleu Burger: Angus beef with house-made blue cheese sauce, slow-roasted tomato confit, caramelized onions, cracked black pepper, balsamic aioli, and fresh greens on a grilled La Baguette artisan roll.
  • Red, White & Blue Crêpes or French Toast: crêpes or French toast topped with house-made strawberry sauce, mixed berry compote, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.
  • Herb Chicken & House Pickle Sandwich: herb-marinated grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella, house-made pickles, pickled red onions, crisp greens, and herb aioli on a grilled artisan roll.
  • Apricot, Spinach & Feta Grilled Cheese: house-made apricot compote, fresh spinach, feta, and melted mozzarella on golden grilled artisan bread (vegetarian option).
  • Escargots & Artichoke à la Bourguignonne: escargot and artichoke hearts in cognac-garlic butter with a Parmesan crust, served with freshly baked baguette.

Seasonal drinks include the All-American Caramel Apple Pie Mimosa ($13), Berry Iced Matcha, Rosé Sangria, and the French Lavender Lemonade Mimosa ($1 off all month).

For Bastille Day, the cafe runs 2-for-$15 French Lavender Lemonade Mimosas during Bastille Week, July 14-19. Tuesday, July 14, also brings a Bastille prix fixe menu, served 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, July 16, marks Ghini’s 34th birthday, celebrated with berry shortcake and 2-for-$15 French Lavender Mimosas.

10th annual Red, White & Brew at Hacienda del Sol

The 10th annual Red, White & Brew takes place at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, at Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort. Guests can enjoy a buffet of grilled favorites, classic side dishes, desserts, and cold beer, with live music from The Xcelerators. The event runs until 10 p.m. Tickets from prior years have ranged from $85 to $110 per adult, all-inclusive. Check here for pricing and availability.

Independence Day weekend at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort hosts a full weekend of family-friendly activities and resort entertainment to mark America’s 250th birthday. Guests can enjoy dive-in movies, lawn games, guided morning hikes, stargazing experiences, live music, happy hour specials, and poolside fun throughout the holiday weekend. The resort’s weekly Blues, Brews & BBQ Sunday Brunch at The Canyon Club runs 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and features live blues music and local beers on tap. Fourth of July at the Mercado District

The Mercado District and MSA Annex plan to host their annual Fourth of July Fiesta with live music and food trucks. Nearby food and beverage outlets, including Westbound Bar, Rollie’s Mexican Grill, Seis Kitchen, Agustin Kitchen, Whole Slvce Pizza, Decibel Coffee, and Presta Coffee, are expected to be open. Check the Mercado District’s Instagram closer to the holiday for confirmed lineup details and timing.

Although El Conquistador licenses the Hilton brand, it’s owned and operated by a local company. The culinary team sources much of its meat and produce from Arizona. 

Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or just looking for an incredible dinner with Catalina Mountain views, this spot is worth adding to your list. 🌵🌞
