Mother’s Day is quickly approaching May 8. Whether it’s brunch or dinner, options abound for great eats.

Below are 33 Tucson restaurants offering Mother’s Day specials.

Pick your favorite spot to eat, but don’t forget to make reservations.

Acacia Real Food & Cocktails

One of your last chances to enjoy this north side treasure.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Acacia will offer a champagne brunch buffet including tea breads, muffins, croissants, seafood, an omelet bar, braised beef short ribs, roasted turkey breast, broiled halibut, honey ham, and salads such as orange-jicama cilantro, quinoa and edamame, and Chinese chicken and noodle.

The buffet is priced at $51.95 for adults, and $24 for children 5 to 10. Children 4 and under eat free.

AzuL Restaurant & Lounge at Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa

If you’re an early riser, AzuL’s sunrise breakfast buffet might be your pick. But if you’re not, Westin La Paloma’s in-resort restaurant also offers brunch.

From 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the sunrise buffet will feature custom juice blends, housemade granola, fresh fruit, breads, bagels, and pastries, eggs and potatoes, and AzuL’s trademark breakfast dishes including lemon ricotta pancakes and cinnamon brioche French toast.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., brunch will feature a salad bar, custom omelets, fresh fruit, cheese, crackers, and bread. Entrees include poached shrimp, crab claws, smoked salmon, chicken breast, prime rib, pork loin, and breakfast favorites lemon ricotta pancakes and the La Paloma Benedict with chorizo, beans, and chili hollandaise.

The sunrise buffet is priced at $21.95 for adults and $9.95 for children. Brunch is $59.99 for adults and $21.99 for children.

Cafe Botanica

If you’re looking for brunch and a relaxing day in the butterfly exhibit at the Botanical Gardens, Cafe Botanica is the perfect place to take your mom.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., brunch at Cafe Botanica will feature the regular menu and three specials, including smoked trout with egg and lime-cilantro butter, huevos rancheros and corn tortilla with nopalito tepary bean relish and eggs, and roasted eggplant tarte with goat cheese and herbs.

Entrees range from $10-$16. If you’re looking to attend Cafe Botanica’s brunch, admission to the Botanical Gardens is required ($13 for adults, $7.50 for children).

Brunch will feature fruit, salad, breads, and cheese, an omelet station, brioche French toast, poached egg with cured salmon, cheese blintzes, bacon and sausage, smoked gouda quiche, pan-seared scallops, beef roast, Chinese dishes, pasta, and a seafood bar including smoked salmon, tuna, and made-to-order sushi.

The buffet is priced at $80 for adults and $35 for children under 12. Unlimited champagne is also available at an additional $24.

Cup Cafe is featuring four speciality items in addition to the regular menu.

Breakfast and brunch is served from 7a.m. to 3p.m., followed by dinner from 4p.m. to 10p.m.

For breakfast, Cup Cafe will offer smoked salmon frittata and sleeping frog farms frittata, followed by chicken and brioche French toast for brunch. For dinner, Cup Cafe will offer paella, including duck confit, white fish, mussels, and lardons.

In addition to offering the regular menus, Harvest is offering five Mother’s Day specials.

The specials for brunch and lunch include medallions of filet mignon and eggs with béarnaise sauce, shrimp and crab quiche, and smoked salmon Benedict.

Specials for dinner include prime rib with parsnip mashed potatoes, and dover sole with saffron rice and lemon caper sauce.

The same specials will be offered at the Harvest location in Oro Valley.

Between the pools, hot spring and cold plunge, water slide, yoga, live music, complimentary bike rentals, and their nostalgic “Summer Rewind” experience, there was always something to do. We never left the resort. 

The highlight at their on-site restaurant, Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails, was the Pollo Con Rajas - perfectly cooked chicken over a rich creamed poblano, onion, and corn mestizaje. And if you’re at their Sundance Café for breakfast, get the pozole. It’s made from a family recipe that became such a guest favorite it earned a permanent spot on the menu. 

Although El Conquistador licenses the Hilton brand, it’s owned and operated by a local company. The culinary team sources much of its meat and produce from Arizona. 

Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or just looking for an incredible dinner with Catalina Mountain views, this spot is worth adding to your list. 🌵🌞
