Half-priced bottles of wine at Pita Jungle for National Wine Day 2022

May 25, 20221 min read

In Tucson, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the holiday that shines a spotlight on all things wine, but here’s one option if you’re scrounging for ideas.

On Wednesday, May 25, you can celebrate National Wine Day with Pita Jungle because they’re carpe diem-ing the holiday by offering their patrons half-priced bottles of wine.

Grab a bottle or three, while you’re at it.

Unable to make it by on National Wine Day? Not to worry, Pita Jungle also spotlights their private label bottles — Jungle Vino — for only $13 a pop on Wednesdays, including varieties such as their 2019 Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Pita Jungle is located at 7090 N. Oracle Rd. For more information, visit pitajungle.com.

@Talegacoffee at 177 N. Church Ave. transforms into @_Velvetcowboy after 4 pm, bringing cocktails, tapas, disco lights, and a lively bar atmosphere to the same space. The dual concept comes from the team behind Talega Coffee Co., with coffee and scratch-made breakfast and lunch served during the day, followed by happy hour and bar service at night.

Velvet Cowboy’s grand opening is Oct. 16, with upcoming events including drag brunches, DJs, and live music.🪩

“Opening this place feels a little surreal. To now have a space where we can bring together coffee, food, art, booze, and all the weird things we love feels like a reflection of how far we’ve come.” —Tyler Melo
