To celebrate their first year of business, Presta Coffee Roasters is hosting Barista Olympics, an event featuring competitions, games, and prizes.
The event will take place Friday, May 20 at Presta, located at 2502 N. First Avenue. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and games start at 6 p.m.
The Barista Olympics are open for everyone to observe, participate, and have fun.
Events at the Barista Olympics include:
- Burlap sack race
- Taste test
- Collaborative latte art challenge
- Best pour over
- Espresso puck toss
- Final latte art challenge
A handful of prizes have been provided by sponsors including Baratza, Hario, Chemex, Espresso Parts, La Marzocco, Fresh Cup Magazine, Visions, Slayer Espresso, Roast Magazine, and Bodhi Leaf.
