Borderlands Brewing Company is releasing its first double IPA in a can, Sitting in a Tin Can, at noon on Tuesday, July 11.
The hazy New England-style DIPA is a successor to their Starkiller Base, but with different hops. Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops provide citrusy tones, while the new Australian cultivar Enigma hops feature intense mango and tropical fruit notes.
Four-packs of the 9% ABV brew are $18.
Borderlands Cantina Club members have first dibs at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 10.
If canning goes smoothly, about 100 cases are expected to be available for sale.
