The Tucson entrepreneurship festival blends innovation, food, and community-driven programming across multiple venues. Tucson Foodie Workshop Explores Local Spending
The Tucson entrepreneurship festival will feature a Tucson Foodie-led workshop focused on local spending and economic impact. “Certified Localist (Pilot Workshop): How Shifting Your Spending Can Strengthen Tucson” runs from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at Highwire.
Tucson Foodie owner Shane Reiser will lead the interactive session. Participants will learn how everyday spending decisions shape Tucson’s economy and small business ecosystem. The workshop will also introduce the upcoming Certified Localist initiative, which encourages residents to commit to supporting local businesses.
Attendees can expect practical tools and guided exercises, including a 30-day Localist Action Plan. The session invites community members, entrepreneurs, and advocates to take part in building a stronger local economy.

Food takes center stage during “Nosh & Network via Rio Nuevo” on Wednesday, March 25 from noon to 2 p.m. at The Grand.
The event pairs TENWEST passholders with fellow attendees for small-group discussions at downtown restaurants. Participants will meet at The Grand, then walk to partner restaurants for facilitated conversations.

The Tucson entrepreneurship festival will also highlight food media and storytelling on Friday, March 27. “Digital Storytelling: Lessons from a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy” runs from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Highwire.
