Rillito Park Farmers Market Pavilion Now Open Saturdays

Great news for fans of the new Rillito Park farmers market pavilion. Beginning Saturday, December 6, Heirloom Farmers Markets will offer their popular Sunday farmers market on Saturdays, too.

From 9am until 1pm, the farmers market favorite that was previously held at St. Phillips Plaza for a decade will now be open to the public on both weekend days. The Saturday market will feature over 30 of Baja Arizona’s finest local food vendors including:

  • Adventure Coffee Roasting
  • Grammy’s Farm
  • Larry’s Veggies
  • Supernatural Organics
  • Tumerico
  • Many more

For a full listing of all Saturday vendors, visit the Rillito Park Farmers Market Saturday Vendors page at heirloomfm.com.

“We’re amazed at the community response with the pavilion and how many folks wanted a farmers market each morning of the weekend,” said Manish Shah, Executive Director of Heirloom Farmers Markets.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the new pavilion at Rillito Park, it’s the result of a joint endeavor between Heirloom Farmers Markets and Pima County. Based on a shared vision for a year-round weekend farmers market to enhance the local food economy, the pavilion is designed to be an anchor destination in the community and to showcase the bounty of food in the region.

Heirloom Farmers Markets operates four urban, green markets that are open 52 weeks a year. These markets provide a direct connection to more than 90 vendors with deep roots in Baja Arizona, including farms, ranches, nurseries, bakeries, and specialty foods producers. The markets are open from 9am to 1pm October through March, and 8am to 12pm April through September. For more information visit www.heirloomfm.com.
