Another year, another hoard of tasty beers and bites.

Whether you see it as half a decade, a lustrum, or simply five years, this is definitely a big milestone for midtown’s only brewery.

Sentinel Peak Brewing Company is ready to celebrate another year in Tucson with an anniversary celebration from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, January 12.

In order to begin another year of service in the right direction, the brewing company is providing a special barbecue menu and releasing new beers for all to try (as long as you’re at least 21 years old).

If you aren’t at least 21, you’re still invited to the family-friendly event.

Aside from serving special bites during their bash, it’s also a good opportunity to try their overhauled menu. Last year, the brewery reconstructed the entire menu with an increased focus on barbecue and loaded mac and cheese dishes.

As the brewery continues to grow in Tucson, Sentinel Peak announced a new collaboration with Borderlands Brewing Co. in early 2018. The demand for beer from both breweries has been exceeding their current production capacities, and the two breweries are planning to share a location at 330 S. Toole Ave.

There’s still no word on when the new spot will open, but they have settled on naming it Voltron Brewing Company. Both Sentinel Peak and Borderlands would still continue their businesses at their existing breweries even after Voltron is complete.

Sentinel Peak Brewing Company is located at 4746 E. Grant Rd. For more information, call (520) 777-9456 or visit Sentinel Peak’s Facebook event page.
