Fun class for photographers at all levels.

It’s fun to eat beautifully crafted dishes, but why not learn to photograph them first?

Wandering Writers Workshops is hosting a Food Photography class with Tucson Foodie’s Jackie Tran at Borderlands Brewing Company from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.

Jackie had such a blast the first time he’s now offering another opportunity to turn your photography skills up a notch. Plus, you’ll be able to eat and drink some great beer with Tucson Foodie’s lead writer and photographer.

(GMT-07:00)

During the class, Jackie will be covering composition, lighting, and techniques he commonly uses when out on a shoot. In addition, there are going to be bites from Pinches Tacos and  food trucks and beer from Borderlands Brewing.

Seats are $129 per person with beer or $115 without. Keep in mind that a $75 nonrefundable deposit is due one week prior to the workshop.

Tuition includes:
  • The three-hour class
  • Lunch from a local food truck Pinches Tacos
  • Two pints of beer from Borderlands Brewing Company
  • One-on-one feedback from Jackie

When it comes to prerequisites for the class, there’s nothing you need to complete beforehand and all levels of photographers are welcome. In other words, you can bring in any type of camera, like a DSLR or a smartphone.

Borderlands Brewing Company is located at 119 E. Toole Ave. For more information, visit wilderwriters.com
