Sip, eat & then vote for your favorite drink.

This event’s got style — certifications, too.

The nonprofit Tucson City of Gastronomy (TCOG) is hosting a Cocktail Challenge at the Carriage House from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 19.

You won’t want to miss this competition because you’ll have the opportunity to sample cocktails from five mixologists that represent a few of the 23 certified 2020 Tucson City of Gastronomy Restaurants.

(GMT-07:00)

Each of the mixologists will be judged by their representation of Tucson’s gastronomical history, use of local ingredients, and incorporation of contemporary bar trends.

You, the guest of honor, are allowed to vote, too. Try them all and then vote to help name the “TCOG Cocktail of the Year,” which comes with a $250 cash prize.

Tickets are $35 per person and include cocktail tastings and hors d’oeuvres from the Carriage House.

The Carriage House is located at 125 S. Arizona Avenue in downtown Tucson. For additional information, visit eventbrite.com.
