For the past 26 years, the good times have rolled at Kingfisher and the fun continues this year with takeout specials on Tuesday, February 16. The evening signals the end of Mardi Gras — which is the biggest day of celebrations —with its classic New Orleans fare.

This year, the restaurant is bringing that perfect amount of New Orleans’ style to Tucson in their feast, including Cajun Creole, Gumbo, and Oysters “Storyville.”

All of those dishes will be available for takeout throughout the day. To top it all off, the crew at Kingfisher has come up with a delicious, fun way to celebrate the annual event — a drive-thru Bananas Foster tent.

You’ll find it located in the rear parking lot of the restaurant, and it’ll be prepared to order from scratch from 4 – 6:30 p.m.

Foodie Tip: It’s suggested as an “eat in the car” dish because it includes a scoop of ice cream on top of heated bananas.
