Hotel McCoy celebrates three years with a MuralFest, food trucks & live music

It’s time to celebrate one of the more unique and artsy spots in Tucson.

The very easy on the eyes Hotel McCoy is celebrating its third anniversary at 720 W. Silverlake Rd. from 4 – 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 16.

A lot is happening Saturday evening, including the MuralFest, which features live mural painting, music, and interactive art.

Aside from all of the creativeness with live mural painting and music, chefs are showing their own form of creativity on-site, too. Black Market BBQ and La Colombia food trucks will be setting up shop to deliver the tasty bites during the celebration. Additionally, there will be cupcakes for those craving something sweet.

If you’ve never paid a visit to the hotel, there are still a few rooms available — each with its own custom design — and some of them are even at a discounted rate for the night of.

The event is free to attend and is for all ages. However, keep in mind that parking on the premises is reserved for hotel guests. For those not staying in a room, be on the lookout for some free LYFT codes that are expected to be released the day of.
