Tucson Doobie’s regular ExtravaGanja event is sparking up again on Friday, September 20 from 7-10 p.m. at Sunset Glass Gallery.
Sunset Glass Gallery is a central Tucson staple of the cannabis community, having earned a reputation for a selection of handmade American glass, low prices, and customer service. The shop regularly offers cannabis events and during the day functions as a place to hang out for their many friends and colleagues.
“We strive to create a family environment and move away from the traditional smoke shop stigma,” said Kyle O., who runs the daily operations of Sunset Glass Gallery, 2725 E. Grant Rd.
Here’s what to expect, and how to join the fun!
An ExtravaGanja just wouldn’t be “extra” without the Ganja. The local D2 Dispensary and Sol Flower Dispensary are sponsoring Tucson Doobie’s event, meaning party-goers can consume on-site or take home products for later.
There’ll also be additional cannabis available from regional brands Grow Sciences and Abundant Organics. Plus, there’s going to be a dab bar with handmade glass by Sunset Glass Gallery, along with a flower and vape bar.
The team behind Black Lamb Culinary, a pop-up concept specializing in hash-paired fine dining experiences, will be on-hand with their more casual culinary endeavor, food truck Tacos El Tuchi.
Expect plenty of tacos with filling choices like quesabirria, carne asada, al Pastor, and more. Also, they’ll be serving Pollo Asado burritos, a Birriadilla, and more! Guests can also feast on their specialty offering for the evening: where a fusion of Black Lamb’s fine dining and food truck casual eats merge.
Black Lamb offers regular pop-up coursed dinner experiences, focusing on the art of plating and pairing each course with a curated rosin or hash to elevate the dining experience. The hash-paired dining adventures are offered monthly, and upcoming dates can be found here.
In addition to tacos, guests can enjoy handmade cannolis by Mafia Kitchen. The food truck freshly fills each cannoli by hand, overflowing every handmade tube! For the ExtravaGanja, they’re featuring the Peanut Butter Scooby Doobie Cannoli.
If you get thirsty, Mafia Kitchen will also be serving their handmade Italian Sodas.
