Downtown Tucson restaurant BATA launched a new weekly event called the Summer Supper Club. Held every Thursday from June 12 through August 28, the dinner invites locals to gather, eat, drink, and connect.

Located at 35 E. Toole Ave., BATA will transform part of its restaurant into a communal space. With long tables designed to seat 25 to 30 guests, the event encourages friendly conversations and shared experiences.

Seasonal Menus and Fire-Touched Fare

Each Thursday, BATA’s chefs craft a new three-course prix fixe menu. Guests enjoy an appetizer, entrée, and dessert alongside a curated bottle of wine for the table.

Every dish follows the restaurant’s signature ethos. That includes hyper-local sourcing, veggie-forward plates, and cooking with fire. Most ingredients come from farms and producers within 20 miles of Tucson.

BATA’s team uses Supper Club to test new ideas and dishes to keep spirits high during the slower summer months.

How to Attend the Summer Supper Club

The experience starts with a 6 p.m. cocktail hour, followed by 6:30 p.m. dinner. Tickets cost $50 per person, not including tax or gratuity. BATA will also choose 3 bottles each week that they think pair well, offered for an additional $50 per bottle. Guests may also order cocktails from BATA’s full bar.

Reservations are required and available through OpenTable. Guests may bring a plus-one, but solo diners are also welcome.

BATA arranges the seating into 4- and 6-top tables to promote conversation. The event draws Tucsonans eager to beat the heat, enjoy local food, and connect with neighbors.
