All About 420Fest Tucson, the Ultimate Cannabis Celebration

Apr 15, 20262 min read

Tucson’s cannabis community is gearing up for one of its most anticipated events of the year as 420Fest returns on April 18, transforming MSA Annex into a vibrant hub of culture, connection, and cannabis.

Running from 2 to 6 p.m., the festival brings together leading cannabis brands, live entertainment, local food, and interactive experiences — all curated to reflect the evolving landscape of cannabis in Southern Arizona.

A Curated Cannabis Experience

Attendees can explore a wide range of cannabis products, from flower and concentrates to edibles and vapes, while engaging directly with top dispensaries and brands across the state. With more than fifteen participating cannabis companies, the event offers both discovery and education in an approachable, high-energy setting.

Full Lineup of Cannabis Brands participating:

  • NatureMed Dispensary
  • Prime Leaf Dispensary: VIP Ticket
  • Trulieve Dispensary
  • SAINTS Dispensary
  • High West Farms: 420 Spark Celebration
  • Verdant Cannabis
  • Nugrun
  • OGeez!

Festival highlights include hands-on demonstrations from IO Extracts showcasing infusion and extraction techniques, as well as the High Weset Farms 4:20 Community Joint Lighting — a symbolic moment designed to bring the crowd together. Simply Professional Formula will lead an educational cannabis growing section for those interested in cultivation.

Prime Leaf VIP Ticket

VIP guests can expect elevated perks through Prime Leaf Dispensary, including: VIP Check-in line, $5 Munchie Box by Cowpig (regularly $25), and a Prime Leaf Goody Bag with product and swag. Get yours here.

Live Music & High-Energy Programming

420Fest isn’t just about cannabis — it’s a full sensory experience. The festival’s music lineup keeps the energy high throughout the day, featuring live performances from:

  • DJ Jahmar & select hip-hop performers
  • ADHDub
  • Jam Now
  • Funky Bonz

The mix of live bands and DJs creates a dynamic rhythm across the event, spotlighting local and regional talent while giving attendees a reason to stay, explore, and engage from start to finish.

Food, Activations & Immersive Elements

Beyond the cannabis experience, 420Fest leans into Tucson’s creative culture with a range of immersive elements. Guests can enjoy curated munchie boxes from Cowpig food truck, browse artisan vendors, and watch live glass blowing demonstrations by Sunset Glass Gallery.

Cowpig food truck will feature the Festival’s unique food offering: The Munchie Box. This festival staple includes a mini-moo slider, chicken slider, three varieties of Munchie Pre-Rolls (egg rolls), fries and a cookie for $25.

Interactive activations and hands-on experiences are woven throughout the festival grounds, creating an environment that feels less like a traditional event and more like a fully realized cultural gathering.

For nearly 20 years, Diana and Jun Arai have helped shape Tucson’s Japanese dining scene.

When @ginzatucson opened in 2008, it became the first restaurant in Tucson to feature an izakaya style menu, bringing Japan’s popular shareable dining experience to the city. Today, it’s still the only restaurant in town with a dedicated izakaya menu, along with one of Tucson’s largest curated selections of sake, Japanese beer, and shochu.

In 2018, the couple expanded again with @raijinramen, Tucson’s first restaurant dedicated entirely to ramen. Known for its rich tonkotsu broths and seasonal specialties, Raijin helped pave the way for the city’s growing ramen scene.

From fresh fish flown in daily from Japan and California to chef’s choice omakase experiences, Ginza continues to showcase authentic Japanese cuisine while Jun and Diana regularly travel to Japan to bring back the latest culinary trends.
