We will showcase the amazing terroir of two wineries from Mexico, Viña Cordelia from San Luis Potosi, and Guanamé from Guanajuato. Experience high-elevation wines where soil and sun grow grapes destined to create fruit-forward flavors. See how grapes you know and love like Malbec and Merlot adapt to the climate, and discover how well unique varietals like Rosa Del Perú pair with the right dish. Guanamé was founded in 2011 by third and fourth-generation ranchers and farmers of the Torres family. It was the first commercial wine producer in the immediate area, evolving from a family garden tradition into an award-winning estate. Viña Cordelia was founded in the mid-20th century by Luis Abella, a Spanish Civil War refugee. The vineyard infuses over 75 years of multi-generational winemaking tradition from Palma d'Ebre, Spain, into the high-quality terroir of central Mexico. Thursday, 5 courses 5 wines.
