Summerfest - Local by Loews Hotels

As the birthplace of the dark sky movement and home to the International Dark-Sky Association, Tucson is one of the best places in the world to view the starry night sky. Through this experience, guests can discover a kaleidoscope of stars, planets and galaxies during their stay with an out-of-this-world experience led by the University of Arizona's renowned Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter.

·       Window Walk Educational Nature Trail

Guests staying at the resort can learn about the unique animals and plants that call the Sonoran Desert home. A stroll along the scenic half-mile educational nature trail unveils a hummingbird, butterfly and tortoise exhibit, 80-foot natural waterfall, as well as detailed signs highlighting more than 200 plants and animals that are native to Southern Arizona’s environment. The uniquely locally experience was created in partnership with the Tucson Botanical Gardens and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson.

Free Spirited by Loews Hotels

Continuing with the recently launched Free Spirited by Loews Hotels program, which offers craft libations focusing on locally sourced ingredients and unique flavor combinations sans-booze, Summerfest will spotlight these refreshing sips, ideal for cooling off from the Arizona heat. With a variety of low-ABV and no-ABV options, guests can enjoy mindful mixology including the zero-proof Sonoran Sipper, made with Lyre’s agave blanco, lime juice, citrus agave cordial and prickly pear syrup, or the low-ABV Cascade Spritz, made with Lyre’s Italian syrup, lemon juice, citrus agave cordial, Prosecco and club soda.
