Considering the comparable climates, similar cultures and the large body of water they share, California and Hawaii are a natural culinary combination.
Kingfisher chef and owner Jim Murphy has united the seasonal flavors of both coastal cuisines for an indulgent two-week menu.
Kingfisher’s Summer Road Trip returned Wednesday, July 15 for the California – Hawaii tour. The menu features a variety of seafood, macadamia nuts, and fruit with a Japanese influence, like Tako Poke (octopus), Grilled Monchong (a Hawaiian term for deep sea pomfret) with wasabi ginger vinaigrette, and a Macadamia Nut Tartlet with coconut sorbet and roasted pineapple.
The menu is available until August 3.
