What’s better than pizza and beer? How about eight different pizzas from various Tucson restaurants and an ever flowing amount of local craft beer? If you’ve been wanting to sample a slice of Tucson’s pizza scene (pun intended), this is a great opportunity.
Tucson Originals, an organization of independent local restaurants that works to help raise awareness for the local culinary scene, is hosting the Third Annual Pizza Throwdown from 3 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 6 at Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria.
The event features local beer and pizza from all over Tucson. Dessert is also included.
Additional food such as salad and pasta will be available for purchase from Fresco.
Admission is $25 at the door, $20 in advance. To purchase tickets, visit the event page.
