To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which happens between September 15 and October 15, three Tucson radio stations will host Fiestas Tucson on Sunday, September 18.
Guests can join Tejano 1600, HOT 98.3, and 93.7 KRQ for Fiestas Tucson, which will include live music and entertainment, drinks, and of course, food.
Admission to the event and all activities are free. Food and beverages will be offered at various prices.
The following food and beverage vendors will be present at the event:
- Baskin Robbins
- Bud Light
- Cafe Santa Rosa
- Domino’s Pizza
- Eegee’s
- Kettlelicious
- Micha’s Restaurant
- Shock Top Beer
- Taqueria Pico De Gallo
Music will include performances by Groupo Anaya, Los Hermanos Cuatro, The Festival Band, Conjunto Bravo, Suerte Musical, Mariachi Corazon de Tucson, and HOT 98.3’s “Feelin’ 520” artists.
Hip hop dancers from The Drop Dance Studio and folklorico dancers will also perform.
In addition to live entertainment and food, iHeartMedia will offer a free Kids Zone, including a bounce house, slides, and obstacle courses.
Imagination Car Club will also feature a car show.
Although the event is free, a portion of the proceeds from the beer vendors will be donated to Chicanos Por La Causa, an organization created to create stronger communities.
Fiestas Tucson will be held from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kennedy Park Amphitheater. This is a cash only event. No ATMs are located at the park.
