Thai China Bistro has served the Tucson Eastside since 1994, when owners Molly and Chuy opened their first location under the name Thai China Palace. The current Broadway location runs as a compact, casual counter-service space with a friendly, no-frills atmosphere that longtime regulars describe as warm and personal. The menu combines Thai and Chinese staples with house-made sushi rolls and boba tea. The Thai beef salad, chili fried rice, and chicken pad Thai stand out as their most popular items. Local food photographer Jackie Alpers also rates their Thai noodle soup and green papaya salad as the best in town.
