Last February, hundreds of beer lovers descended on downtown for the first annual Tucson Craft Beer Crawl. Over the course of four hours, attendees hopped between seven venues, each offering an array of Arizona breweries’ best creations.
The Tucson Craft Beer Crawl is back on February 20, 2016 with eight total venues and 25 participating brewers. From 1 to 5pm, keep your tasting glass close and your friends even closer as you sip your way through some of downtown’s drinking hotspots.
“It’s all about connection,” commented Laura Reese, the founder of the Tucson Craft Beer Crawl and owner of Storyteller PR. “Talk to a brewer, try a new beer, explore a downtown venue, support a great non-profit, and do it alongside your Tucson neighbors! Last year the vibe was so celebratory… everyone bounced between venues, jazzed to be taking part in our awesome downtown and beer community. And that’s exactly what we’re doing again this year.”
To start, check in at the Beer Garden on Fifth Avenue and grab a map to plan your beer-induced adventure. There is no recommended route, so start with your favorites or venture headfirst into the unknown. The furthest distance you will travel is a mile, from Seventh Street to Broadway Boulevard.
As you make your way from Thunder Canyon to Hotel Congress to Ermanos and more, don’t be deceived by the size of your glass. The endlessly flowing craft beer will certainly add up, so factor in snacks and rest stops to help you rally throughout the afternoon!
General Admission tickets are $40 online or $45 at the door (if there are any left), and VIP tickets are $70, or $80 at the door.
VIP tickets include early admission and a screen printed t-shirt from Fed by Threads. Early Bird VIP tickets are still available online for only $60.
The 2015 event sold out, and early bird General Admission tickets are already gone, so act fast to get in on the fun. In keeping with last year, a percentage of the proceeds will benefit Watershed Management Group.
