An email sent out from Chef/Owner Stephen Hurd with Relish Kitchen and Wine Bar today stated the following:

It is with mixed emotions that I will be closing Relish Kitchen and Wine Bar. We will be open and only serving dinner until Saturday, May 14th. It has been a pleasure preparing and sharing my food and wine pairings with you. Yet, all things must come to an end and I have decided to pursue another opportunity closer to family. I would like to thank you for your patronage and support. I hope you have enjoyed Relish as much as I have.

Relish the moment,
Chef Stephen

Hurd attended Johnson and Wales culinary school in Charleston, South Carolina then worked at the famed Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. for a short time. In 2004 he moved to Tucson where he worked as Clubhouse Manager at Tucson Country Club. In addition, Hurd is a professional ice sculptor.

Relish Kitchen and Wine Bar opened on March 23, 2013, taking over the space that previously housed Create Cafe.
