Now that the colder months ending in “-er” have started, it’s time to indulge in the highest quality oysters.

Kingfisher is hosting their 7th Annual Oysterfest on Saturday, October 29 to celebrate oysters in all its glorious forms, from raw to baked to fried and stewed.

Starting at 10 a.m., the tent in the front parking lot at Kingfisher will be filled with stations of experienced shuckers. Over a dozen different types of oysters from all over the country will be available for the picking, including Crystal Point, Ranier, Totem Point, Kumiai, Malpeque, North Shore Gold, and more.

For a cooked experience, choose from Guinness Oyster Stew, Oysters Rockefeller, Oysters Storyville, Fried Oysters, New England and Manhattan Clam Chowders, and more. A limited version of the Kingfisher lunch menu will be available as well.
