Veg Box Permanently Closing Their Downtown Restaurant June 30

Vegan restaurant Veg Box will permanently close its downtown brick-and-mortar space at 75 E. Pennington St. today.

Veg Box announced the following on Facebook:

“We are sorry to inform everyone that Veg Box’s downtown location will be closing its doors permanently at the end of TODAY June 30, super cheap specials if you mention this post and we have loafs of #glutenfree bread for $4!!!!. We are grateful for all our loyal customers and Vegalution supporters! The food truck will be around so follow our Facebook page to keep active. Have faith my dear followers we are manifesting something phenomenal. Always live in the frequency of abundance and gratitude. PS we are heading to Oaxaca for a month to gather awesome recipes!! See you soon! “

The downtown location opened mid-2015 and developed a following with their buffalo cauliflower and beet burger.

Downtown diners looking for a vegan restaurant can still enjoy Urban Fresh next door at 73 E. Pennington St.
