Ramen and curry restaurant Ja Ramen announced plans to open late September.
The 4,065-square-foot space at 2643 N. Campbell Ave. previously held Hoki Poki, which closed in July.
Da Nang, Vietnam native Ja Le will run the restaurant with his sister Helena Le. Ja cooked in Canada for over a decade before moving to the US, he said.
Ja Ramen will feature a handful of ramen varieties and curry on rice. Standard tonkotsu, shoyu, and miso broths will be available; other menu details are tentative.
Operating hours will be 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday – Saturday.
