"Time flies and we’re so excited to celebrate with you!"

Lindon Reilly’s days of towering burgers are officially over and a new wave of craft burgers has taken the spotlight on Fourth Avenue. When local eaters first got a whiff of the new concept, their stomachs grumbled and growled like the transformation of a werewolf during a full moon.

We’re talking about the flavors and recipes at Thunder Bacon Burger Co. It’s been a year since its grand opening and now Reilly and the crew are ready to celebrate.

Thunder Bacon Burger Co. — the cool kids are calling it TBBC — is hosting a special burger and beer deal for its first anniversary from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 16.

However, the burger joint has been honoring its anniversary all week. A couple of new and limited t-shirts have been screen printed, which are available to purchase online, and gift cards are available as well.

Let’s talk about Sunday, though, because there’s a mighty fine deal happening.

On the tail end of the weekend, they’ll be serving up the 520 Burger for just $5.20. But wait, that’s not all. Make sure you wash it all down with one of the draft beers on tap for just $4 each.

Thunder Bacon Burger Co. is located at 621 N. Fourth Ave. For more information, visit thunderbaconburger.com or follow Thunder Bacon Burger Co. on Facebook
