A herd of 20+ breweries to be at this year’s ‘Brew at the Zoo’

What do you get when you cross an elephant with a rhinoceros? Elephino. However, I do know what it’s like to drink beer and support the livelihood of wild animals.

From 6 – 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, round up your favorite party animals and head down to Reid Park Zoo for its 2023 Brew at the Zoo. Like the previous beer festivals, it takes place at 3400 Zoo Court and the proceeds support the zoo’s animal care, conservation, and education programs.

There’s going to be a wide selection of craft beer, hard ciders, lagers, and ales from some of Arizona’s and Mexico’s niftiest breweries while you take a walk on the wild side around the Zoo. The event will also have live music in the Event Garden and in Tanzania, games and fun photo ops, snacks from [POPPED] Artisan Popcorn, and pub-style grub from Craft Culinary Concept.

The event is only for folks 21 years or older (sorry, kids) and General Admission tickets are $50 each ($45 for zoo members) and $25 each for designated drivers (sorry, no beer for you). Tickets go up $10 the day of the event and are non-refundable.

Each ticket (excluding the DD ticket) includes 16 tickets to the following beverage dealers and you’ll get to take home a commemorative tasting glass.
