The brand-new concept, Kotu Korean BBQ, is expected to open its doors in the next month or two at 4545 N. Oracle Rd.

The new restaurant is owned and operated by Calvin Hoang, who’s also a franchise owner of a Two Hands Corn Dogs spot in Tucson and of Miss Dessert — a boba tea concept at 1800 E. Fort Lowell Rd. #140.

Kotu Korean BBQ, though, is starting from the ground up. Renovations are currently underway inside the empty building on Oracle Road across from the Tucson Mall.

Each of the tables inside Kotu’s dining room will come equipped with a small grill in the center. The team brings out your desired meats and proteins (raw) and you grill away, ordering as much as your stomach can handle.

As mentioned earlier, Hoang is aiming to open the restaurant in a couple of months (late April or early May to be more specific). Stay tuned!

Kotu Korean BBQ is located at 4545 N. Oracle Rd. For more information and to keep up with the latest, follow Koto on Instagram.
