Heidi Yribar, the owner, officially opened Antsy Nancy in October 2021 and was inspired by Nancy Rutherford, AKA her Aunt Nancy.

“When I was a kid, Aunt Nancy was the fun, cool, and young Aunt,” said Yribar. “She’d lived all over the world, had multiple college degrees, took karate, jumped out of airplanes, and drove an Alfa Romeo convertible. She’s exceptionally artistic and creative too. Since retiring, she’s developed her quilting into an art form, made the cakes for at least a dozen weddings, and completed the Master Gardener Program with the University of Arizona.”

No matter which event you choose, Antsy Nancy is sure to deliver a fun and educational experience that will leave you wanting more.

“My slogan is ‘Antsy Nancy does it all … and so can you!’”, said Yribar. “That’s how Aunt Nancy always made me feel and what I hope to replicate for our students in every Antsy Nancy class.”

Antsy Nancy is located at 5655 E. River Rd., #101. To learn more about classes at Antsy Nancy and to register, visit antsynancy.com.

Chilaquiles bring together crispy tortilla chips, salsa, eggs, and cheese in one skillet. Tucson cooks have made the dish their own, and each restaurant adds a different twist. Some go heavy on red or green sauce, others split the two, and many top the plate with a fried or poached egg. From a downtown café to a Marana staple, here are the best spots in town to order chilaquiles.
